What makes you different?

We’ve personally experienced mold illness, so we understand how serious hidden mold problems can be. Our team includes a certified plumber with more than 30 years of experience who understands how leaks, moisture intrusion, and poor ventilation create the conditions for mold growth. Combined with our highly trained mold detection dog, we’re able to accurately locate hidden mold so you can take the right remediation steps with confidence.

What kinds of Mold will the dog find?

Our Mold Dogs are specifically trained to alert (sit) on at least eighteen different kinds of the most common toxic molds. If a dog alerts, there is a mold issue which signals a moisture problem, i.e.: leaky pipe, etc.

Are your dogs Certified?

Yes our Dogs are NAMP certified through the Florida Canina Institute with Bill Whitstine. They undergo quarterly testing and annual re-certification.

How does this work?

Our mold detection dog is trained to identify the scent of mold, including hidden mold behind walls, under flooring, inside ceilings, and in other hard-to-reach areas. During the inspection, the dog and handler carefully move through the home identifying areas of concern.

Once alerted, we help identify likely moisture sources such as leaks, plumbing issues, or humidity buildup that may be contributing to mold growth. This allows homeowners to focus remediation efforts more accurately instead of relying on guesswork or invasive demolition.

Our goal is to help you locate hidden mold quickly, efficiently, and with as little disruption to your home as possible.

How long does an inspection take?

An inspection duration depends on the size of the space. It can take anywhere from 1 to 3 hours typically.

Does this hurt the dog?

No — our dog’s health and wellbeing are our top priority. She lives in an extremely low-mold environment the vast majority of the time and is only exposed to mold minimally during inspections.

We also perform intensive health assessments twice a year to carefully monitor her wellbeing and ensure she remains healthy and thriving. Our inspections are designed to limit exposure, and mold detection work does not negatively affect her health.
